Zip Combos 2'x8' + 20'x8' + 2'x8'

Zip combos are the perfect way to create a large graphic back wall. All our zip combos come with 3 zip stands that link together by a sharing foot; you can also use the stands separated as well. The two side frames sit slightly behind the middle frame and each frame has it's own dye sublimated printed fabric that zips at the bottom giving you a clean professional look.

Fabric Dye Sublimation Process

We use a Dye Sublimation printing process to print all of our fabric products. Dye Sublimation printing is a top-of-the-line printing process which produces vibrant, permanent printed graphics on soft polyester fabric. The dye-sublimation printer heats up to about 400 degrees to bond the dye to the fabric fibers permanently dying the fabric. The fabric print is long lasting and washable and won't peel off like other screen-printed fabric products.

Aluminum Frames

The zip stand frames are made of 1-1/4" dia aluminum tubes. The frames are very light weighing about 10lbs. The tube frames break down into approx 2ft sections which are bungee corded together for easy set up. Sections snap together with snap pins. No tools are needed to erect this frame and it can be set up with 1 person in about 20 minutes or less, faster with 2 people. All the joints are numbered for easy assembly, simply match up the numbers and you will be done in no time.

Light Blocking Liner

Our light blocking liners are made of a gray fabric material specially designed to block out any traveling light. We recommend adding a light blocking liner if you your display had double sided printing. This will block out any light and shadows from the opposite side graphic.

LED Lights & Hard Carrying Case (Not Included)

Our LED Lights are 18w and they clamp onto the top of the zip stand frame. Typically, you will want to have 1 LED Light every 1-2 feet on your display. Lights are a great way to draw attention to your display. Keep in mind the lights do have a cord and will need to be plugged in, you'll want to check with the event hall to see if you need special permissions to use the lights with your display. LED lights are not recommended for double sided displays, due to the cords hanging down from the lights. See our LED Lights section for more information

The hard carrying case makes it easier to travel with your zip stands as well as offering extra protection. The hard carrying cases can fit the zip stand frames and fabric. Keep in mind we don't recommend using the hard case as a shipping case, in our experience shipping the case as is tends to be too rough on the locks, latches and joints on the cases and they tend to break very easily during shipping. Care & Use of the Zip Combos

Zip combos are a great display that draws a lot of attention. With proper care this display system can last you a long time. The graphics are also replaceable enabling you to re-use the frames over and over for years to come.

Caring for the fabric:

We use a dye sublimation process to print on a lightweight 100% woven polyester crease resistant fabric. The dye sublimation process permanently dyes the fabric creating a vivid colorful print. Your custom printed fabric is washable and folds up for easy travel and storage.

Washing the Fabric:

• You can place your fabric into the washer machine on "Cold Setting", as long as it fits.
• To dry the fabric you should hang it back on the frame and let it air dry. Being a polyester fabric it is almost dry as it comes out of the spin cycle.

Steaming the Fabric:

We recommend using a steamer to remove any creases and wrinkles that may happen from folding.

Lifespan:

Your printed fabric will last many years with normal care. Slight fading may occur with multiple washes and may also occur when exposed to direct sunlight for a prolonged period of time.

DO NOT STORE FABRIC IN PLASTIC. STORE IN COOL DRY PLACE.

Zip combos are great for making large and long display walls or backgrounds. They are manageable together or as individual sections and you can combine them into multi-level sections.

Common Questions?

Can my Zip Combo Display go outside?

While all the components of the frame and fabric are water poof, and will withstand rain, however, they are not made to withstand the wind. Wind will easily blow the frame over and damage it. You can attach the frame to another structure, but then you run the risk of breaking the frame with the pressure the wind puts on the whole structure.

Is it hard to set up a Zip Combo Display?

Zip Combos can be set up by 1 person, although 2 people is preferred. Total set up time for 1 person is about 20 minutes. Straight pole sections are bungeed together and attach to the corners. The joints are all numbered making it easy and fast to match all the poles. Once the poles are set up you simply pull the fabric over the frame and pull it at the bottom and zip. Slipping the fabric onto the frame is easiest with 2 people working together, but one person can do it as well. It is easiest to pull the fabric over the frame if the frame is laying down.

Can my Zip Combo Display be used as individual displays?

Yes, you can use each section as an individual display. You will be supplied with feet for all the stand alone as well as the feet to create the combo system.

What is Dye Sublimation Printing?

Dye sublimation printing is a digital printing technology that uses high heat to transfer the ink onto a polyester fabric, permanently dying the fabric fibers. The printing process produces long lasting vivid print that are washable and won't peel off over time. With proper care and handling of your dye sublimated fabric it can last years to come.

Can I order custom size zip stands?

Yes, if you need a specific size zip stand please contact one of our knowledgeable representatives and they can assist you with your custom order.

Can I replace the graphics on my Zip Combo Display?

Yes. we offer replacement graphics for each of the zip stands. With every order, we test each replacement graphic to ensure a perfect fit before it leaves our facility. View our Zip Replacement Graphics sections for more information.

I lost my zip stand feet

Sometimes this happens, no worries! We offer Zip Stand Replacement Feet for all of our zip stand frames.

How many colors or details can I use in my artwork, will it cost extra?

You can use any number of colors or any amount of detail in your artwork without incurring any additional fees. We print our fabric using a digital technology, dye sublimation process and it prints just as a regular digital printer would. Since we are not using a screen printing process we are not limited to the colors to details like other fabric printers.

What color profile should I set up my artwork in?

We accept CMYK, RGB, mixed colors and Pantone colors. We do use a 4-color process and each color profile will be converted to meet the original coloring as closely as possible.

When will I get a proof?

Typically, you'll receive a proof via email from our graphics department within 1-2 hours of placing the order, if the order is placed during regular business hours of 8:30am - 5pm EST, Monday - Friday, with the exception of holidays. If you place your order during off hours/days, you'll receive a proof 1-2 hours from the time we re-open.

I don't have a print ready file or software to set up the artwork, how can I get artwork set up for my order?

Unfortunately, we don't offer artwork set up in house. Good websites to find graphic designers are fiverr.com or 99designs.com. If you are not able to find a designer please contact us and we can refer you to freelance designers we work with often.

I realized I send the wrong file when I received the proof, what do I do?

No worries, this is why we send proofs! If you realized something is wrong in your artwork or sent the wrong file, simply respond to the graphics proof email, and let them know if you are sending a new file. Our graphics team will always send you updated proofs, and nothing goes to print without your approval.

I approved of the proof then realized it was wrong, what do I do?

We work fast over here, once the proof is approved it moves to production quickly. If you realize the proof was wrong after approving contact us as soon as possible. We can try to holt production if your order has not started to print yet. Once it starts printing it will be hard to pull it back at that point so the sooner you can let us know the better chances, we have to stop it.
